- Your Style, Your Story – This photoshoot is for you when you know your style and you want to show it off to the world.
- Coming Into Myself – This photoshoot is for you when you are experiencing a change in your life, whether that be coming out as gay, going through a change in gender or something else entirely

(Exceptions: I do not shoot naked or sexual images.) -
During our photoshoot my focus is on you, just like with any other portrait shoot. The difference is that, as a fashion photographer, I take the same approach as when I would do a fashion shoot. This gives your photos an editorial feel like you would see in the magazines.
-
Especially when it’s your first time in front of a camera, it can be a bit nervewrecking. Not to worry, we don’t just jump in and expect everything to be perfect straight away. I always start out with a few minutes of test shots. This way you can get used to the camera (and I can make 100% sure the lighting is right) and get more comfortable. Throughout the shoot I’ll guide you with posing (yes, I know where you can put your hands), where to look and when not to close your eyes. And of course we take time in between so you can see what we’ve created so far. When it’s time to wrap it up, you’ll feel like the shoot has flown by.
-
Your style is your style and that is always fashion enough. If you’re not sure, you can always send me pictures of the outfits you plan to wear during the shoot and I can give you advise. Another option is to include a professional stylist (for an additional fee and subject to availability) who will help you before and during the photoshoot.
-
Yes, you know best what makes you, look like you. For an additional fee, we can include a professional make-up and hair stylist to take your look tot he next level.
-
Models are welcome of course, but don’t worry, it’s definitely not a requirement to book a shoot with me. During our photosession I’ll help you with posing and guide you throughout, so we get the best, and most natural result that show you, just the way you are.
-
Even though the shoots are designed fort he LGBTQ+ community, allies are always welcome of course. Keep in mind that these photoshoots are a safe space and completely judgement free.
-
Depending on the type of photoshoot you book, there are different options. Most shoots take place in the photostudio close to Amsterdam. The second option is a location of your choice, this could be both outside and inside. If you have a fun location for a photoshoot, that’s cool. I can also help you by suggesting different options.
About the shoot
-
Honestly, I don’t really care if you are female, male or anywhere inbetween. I don’t care who you love (I love the fact that you love!). I care about you, and who you are as a person. That being said, yes, everybody is welcome here. Every gay person, every straight person, every trans person, every drag queen and every non-binary person, you are welcome here. And if I didn’t mention you in this (very short) list, YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!
(Note: Minors should always be accompanied by a parent or guardian) -
No, that is completely up to you. Everybody is welcome with me and it’s not up to me to decide where you are in your journey. In our intake, you can tell me where you stand (if you want), so I know how to comfortably approach you during our shoot.
-
Of course you can. I’m not here to out you in any way. My photoshoots are designed to make you feel good in your own skin, and if you are not ready or willing to show every part of yourself to the world, you don’t have to and I will never push you into anything you’re not comfortable with.
-
No problem, emotions are a part of life and that’s beautiful. We will take things at your own pace and if you get emotional during the photoshoot, we’ll make time for that too.
-
Absolutely, a photoshoot can be a little scary and having a friendly face present can provide some comfort. Make sure to choose somebody who you trust, and with whom you can be completely yourself. Just let me know beforehand that somebody is coming along.
-
No, not if you don’t want to. This is your photoshoot and you will be in charge of what happens to your photos. If I like some of the photos so much that I want to share them on social media or on my website, I will always discuss this with you first and you can always feel free to say no, trust me, I won’t be upset. I will never share your photos without your permission.
-
Absolutely, if at first you were ok with me sharing your photo anywhere, but you change your mind later on, just send me a message and I’ll remove your photo asap, if possible on the same day.
-
I could tell you here that you are beautiful, just as you are, and you truly are. But everybody has insecurities about something, and that’s why we take it slow during our shoot. I guide you throughout the whole session and make sure to check in regularly to see if you feel comfortable. And of course you can see your own photos while shooting, so we can adjust poses to suit you better.

Well, this is the Netherlands, so chances are it will rain at some point, right? No worries! When I prepare for our photoshoot, I will include a backup plan for when the weather is bad, and discuss this with you. This might be a different location, going into the studio, or a reschedule the shoot to another date.
-

-
Yes, you can always add extra time to your shoot, an extra outfit change or extra edited photos to the package. Ask me about these add-ons in our intake.
-

You are not allowed to use the images commercially. If you would like to use the photos for your business, for instance, to post on the social media feeds or website of your shop or service, a usage fee will be charged. Ask me about commercial use in our intake.

As a visual artist, I try to avoid using AI in my images other than small, almost unnoticable, changes (such as removing a trashcan in the background) to clean up a photo. I do not give permission to anyone to alter the images I made with or without AI, or to remove a watermark. This violates copyright law and I’m sure you don’t want to be “that” person.
Read more about AI and copyright in the terms and conditions.
