For 17 years she has captured people in a way that feels both fun and respectful, and with her photoshoots she created a safe space for people explore their style and to be fully themselves.

“I’ve always felt a bit like a weird kid…

For a very long time I felt like I wasn’t meant to be here and the world didn’t make sense to me (spoiler, it still doesn’t most of the time). The only thing that has always felt right was being a photographer, the rest of my identity was kind of a mysterie to me. Now, at 40, I know that I’m not weird at all, I recently got diagnosed with ADHD and things fell into place in some aspects. A safe place and support from the right people made it possible for me to explore who I actually am.

It makes me realize, even more than it did before, that there are so many people out there that feel the same way. Maybe you feel like the odd one out too, like you should tone yourself down for others, when all you really want is to be yourself, maybe even stand in the spotlights.

I know what it means to have a safe space to be exactly who you are, and that’s why I want to create that same safe environment for you during my photoshoots. It doesn’t matter to me if you just came out as gay, if you decided that who you were in the past is not who you are today, if your gender pisses other people off or if you’d like to be a completely different character sometimes. All that matters to me, is that you feel free to express yourself in a way that makes you happy.
